Vote Today!

As much as I don’t like politics, I sure do like to vote. And today’s the day. So vote! The Design Mom has some fun ideas around voting. I’m sure my mom (and dad, The Councilman) will be having their annual election party. And as one commenter pointed out, it’s very important. And of course, she or he is right. So do me a favor, vote!

And speaking of favors and parties and party favors, that’s exactly what I’m talking about today at Design Mom. So visit me there. And leave a comment. And vote. Happy election day.

I left you a comment…but used my wrong url. Sigh.

  2. Super Zoe says:

Up with voting! We the people! Our country is so great that we have people on our ballot named "Kinky" and "Grandma". I am really looking forward to voting for the "Kinky/Grandma" ticket. Hee hee.Go vote! It's no joke!

  3. Jennifer says:

Yep, I love the voting thing too. Not always the outcome, but always the vote. :)

  4. DeeDa says:

Like yourself, I do not like talk politics. I do not like to talk politics for the simple fact that I find myself arguing with people that have no idea what they are talking about. What's even more sad is these said people are my friends. The people that I surround myself with every day.I asked several people today…did you vote? The majority say "no". I bet they voted for their favorite on Dancing With the Stars!

  5. Kristen says:

I voted, despite my avoidance of political talk as well. Maybe didn't do a bit of good in Oklahoma, but hey, I did it.

  6. Jill says:

I voted, and despite my usual avoidance of political talk, I also posted about it. A giddy, shameless post that will put me in the doghouse with my in-laws for years. Love the design site, but I haven't been able to figure out a design-y comment to make.

  7. Lady M says:

Love the Design Mom site, thanks for the link!Yes, I voted too.

  8. mark says:

I voted absentee Friday and I made sure not to watch TV tonight. Instead I watched the state's website for the results. It was far less traumatic and more pleasant than the last go-round.

  9. Design Mom says:

Mark, I'm like you. I had to track results on line. Watching it on TV is too stressful.

  10. Girl con Queso says:

I love these comments all around. And yes, I was an online tracker too.And Kinky Grandma made me laugh.

  11. KCG says:

I can't vote. I'm in DC. Taxation without representation. Ooh … a deleted comment … controversy at BcQ! I love a good fight!

  12. Girl con Queso says:

No controversy. I don't know what it was. The person who wrote it deleted it. I think.
