It’s a rainy day here in Central Texas. And as a result, everything is a little bit gray… and moving a little bit slowly. Including me. But I can’t really complain. I like the rain. It casts a different light and helps things grow.
Plus, tomorrow will be sunnier.
Until then, I’m going to grab some tea, cuddle up, and read this post again. Join me. Here’s a preview:
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson

Nice thought for the day!
Just what I needed. Very good quote. And Texas rain storms? Seriously some of my favorite childhood memories have the lull of Texas rain in the background. **Homesick sigh**
Love that. I need to read that every day!
I doubt that there will be many days that I start “serenely” but it’s a nice thought!
That’s right! I refuse to be encumbered by my old nonsense!!!
I feel better already.
