The Birth of the Queso.

Hi, My Name is Laura…And I like cheese. You should also known that I’m from Texas. And our people call it queso.

Behold the power of queso.

I discovered blogs in 2002 when I was up to my eyeballs in press releases and parties in the bubbly PR world (and oh my was the bubbly flowing). I could tell you stories, and I probably will. Eventually.

I share my house and my life with James and the best thing we’ve ever been a part of (our son…the Hurricane).

I dig: Jello, British music, sushi, design magazines, enchiladas, and Elvis.

There’s other stuff too, but that’s a good start. If you need more, you can also read more about me here.

…So Welcome to the Queso.

It’s where dreams come to drink.

welcome to the world of blogging and although it may seem like it, it does not require that much commitment. take it from me, my own blog often goes weeks without a post. true, it is creepily self-indulgent, this whole blog thing. but i had a website long before blogging became popular so i guess in some ways i co-opted the blogging thing as an easy way to up date my site. every now and then i post something interesting or profound, but mostly, like you, it is just for my own fun.welcome, queso girl, you've now made the big time — a spot on the links list at http://www.jonpolk.org. now, dontcha just feel special?
