Summer: Day 2

Summer: Day 2

Today we are planting things. Pumpkins to be exact. My grandfather used to plant his pumpkins on the Fourth of July, but I wanted to go ahead and do this today…just in case it doesn’t work. I think that one action pretty much sums up my whole personality, right there.

Tomorrow, I will tell you the recipe for dirt that we used…an ancient small-town secret dirt recipe that I learned from some Septuagenarians at a Free Compost Seminar held at the local public library…

1. Yes, you read that right last sentence right.

2. No, I’m not sure which part of that last sentence is the strangest part.

3. You’re welcome in advance.

So the dirt recipe is your green thumb guarantee? Share my dear friend, do share.

    1. I double-checked anyway.
    2. The fact that library books could be composted, and that would horrify any librarian to death, makes me giggle.
    3. Thank you in advance.
