Spring: Day 1. Let’s Do This.

Spring: Day 1. Let’s Do This.

So here we go. I am going to attempt to capture this year in a photo a day. I said attempt. It is my intention to do this. I want to do this. And I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.

If you could smell the orange blossoms and lemon blossoms on my back patio, you too would think you can do anything.

Spring is intoxicating.

And I am drunk with ideas, possibilities, and potential.

I want to have this as a bookmark for how I want to feel always.

I mean, why not? Really.

This morning I got a call from someone I work with, and she said, “Hi, how are you?” And I said, “I’m great!” She was surprised at my exuberance and said, “Wow, great!!? Really? Great? Really?” I thought about my response. “Um, yeah, really. I mean, I don’t have the bird flu or anything.”

It’s Spring, y’all.

Anything is possible.

  1. Cindy says:

My yoga teacher said to us one time that just the act of getting your mat out set the intention for you to practice. Since then I’ve applied this idea to all things. The act of getting out the cutting board sets the intention to chop up something yummy and healthy for dinner. The act of getting out the camera and so on. Too bad you can’t photograph the smells of Spring though.
