Party Time

So in one week, we’ve enjoyed four Kirtsy book events. In Houston, Washington DC, Dallas, and Austin. And now, I’m entering a couple of days off before our next event (Dec 2 in NYC).

But that doesn’t mean the party is over. No. That would be too simple.

Of course, almost all of us in the US are gearing up to give thanks on Thursday. And then my family had the brilliant idea of doing our Christmas the next day. That’s right, the next day. So between now and Friday, I’ll be making pies, eating turkey, then buying, wrapping, and unwrapping gifts. I can’t remember whose idea it was to do this all at once, but it’s clear that this person is related to me. Because what’s the point of doing one thing, when you can do 100 things all at the same time?

I won’t lie to you, I’m pretty spent. Good spent, but spent none the less.

But I have no complaints. The last week has been amazing, and I have the photos to prove it. The photo above is from the Dallas event, and it’s one of 800 photos waiting to be downloaded from my camera. I’ll get right on that after I get through the two most major American holidays, which we’ve elected to have over the next 72 hours.

Give me a minute to make a pie or two, and I’ll get back with you.

Hope you enjoyed your family celebrations. It was fun to read about some of the other Kirtsy events. I'm looking forward to the one in SF next Tuesday. :)
