Merry Happy

December 24, 2013

Well, now that it’s Christmas Eve, I’ve finally gotten all the Christmas stuff out. Better late than never, right?

Thank the Baby Jesus for Target.

And the dollar store.

And the grocery store.

And don’t even get me started on this guy.

But the trees and stockings hadn’t gone up.

So finally, I got my stuff together. And the tree is now decorated.

In related news, I tried color blocking the tree this year. And I’m not sure I love it.

But it makes decorating much easier.  Mindless grouping. Plus, it’s up and it’s done.

Are you sensing the level of my current brainpower at this point in the year?

I just typed ROYGBIV to you.

All the whites went in the office.

Yep. I did two trees this year. Which is a long dumb story and not even worth getting into at this point.

But, interestingly enough, when you wait until the last minute, trees are 75% off. So there’s that.

Now I just have to wrap the presents.

Merry Christmas!

May your week be merry and bright. And filled with lots of cake.
