Nice. I knew Ken and all the other "Usual Suspects" at Enron, personally and professionally. What was Enron? A financial company with an asset light strategy? – Yes! Greedy? – Yes! Arrogant? Yes! Philanthropic? – You bet and sorely missed! Smart? – No! Feel sorry for the "smart ones" who threw all their investment eggs into one basket? – No!Ken Lay legacy? All the above

Um, you're brilliant?I have a good friend who was transferred to Houston, employed by Enron, less than a year previous to the bankruptcy. He remained an employee almost to the end, when the office was a ghost town, due to the specific nature of his work.Your story makes a lot of sense to me b/c of the stuff he shared regarding his experience.I'm glad you wrote this piece.

I like it! Poor Ken. To die in ignominy is sad, no matter what the reality. You are now free to return to Serious Issues like Parker Posey and Dave Grohl…and me. On the coolness scale, I hope to fall somwhere near, but I know I can out-dress Grohl.
