I just got back from an lovely weekend with three of my BFFs from college. We get together every year, unless someone has just had a major life event and/or is trapped under something heavy. This year, we went to Vail. And this year we had dinner at Kelly Liken‘s restaurant, which is aptly named Kelly Liken.
I’m no food blogger so I didn’t get out my industrial strength camera equipment every time they brought out the elk carpaccio, tomato-watermelon gazpacho, or spiced raspberry dark chocolate ganache tart. But believe me, all five courses were beautiful and incredible.
The company wasn’t bad either.
(If you’re anywhere near Vail, by all means, make a reservation and go. It was one of the best meals I’ve had this year.)
