It's the Seventh Wave.

Karen at Chookooloonks is throwing a Love Thursday party. And we don’t miss parties around here. So here’s a lovely love shot con queso.

The Hurricane and me. Just hangin’.

He’d only been in the world three weeks, so we were both still adjusting and out-of-our-minds exhausted. But man, the love was flowing.

So today, as he was literally running around the house and screaming words in an alien tongue, while waving his little hands in the air like he just don’t care, I thought:

  • Wow, he’s loud.
  • Man, he’s fast.
  • Wasn’t it just yesterday that he was all little and cuddley?
  • I can’t believe he’s starting school next week.
  • And really, how is it physically possible for 11 months to pass so freaking quickly?

But it’s no secret. Time flies when you’re in love. And there is no deeper wave than this.

Hi.I came across your blog via the Love Thursday post comments. Then I checked out your profile. Funny that we both have read the Pillars of the Earth book and loved it. It was so long, but it was awesome, wasn't it? Have you read anything else that good that you can recommend for me (and maybe not so long, as I have a one year old now and time is limited)… hehe.p.s. Cute picture. Love Thursday is a great idea, don't ya think?

…if I extract Hurricane's cheekbone structure, the sampling of hair and skin tones, I think I can come up with a Fizzle famous photoshop face for you….(v. adorable, baby hurricane…he looks so, so, so, gentle rain rather than big storm kind o' guy)…

Thanks to Love Thursday and the glories of email, I am no longer in love with two people. I am only in love with one. And it's the good one. YAY!

I love the feeling of a newborn sleeping on my chest… passes so quickly! :)

There is NO WAY that body just gave birth three weeks ago! I can't even see your belly or butt or thighs, and yet you STILL don't look post-pregnancy anything!Seriously, though, what a sweet little Hurricane you got there.

P.S…. I hope realize that I know you didn't give birth just three weeks ago…I reread my last comment AFTER hitting the publish button and my hyperneurotic self said, "That sounds like a comment from someone who just saw the picture without reading the post!" Sorry, I'm a dork.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you deleted my earlier posts! If only life was like a blog, and the administrator was, like, our super-good friend, and would delete the crappy things we felt before we had coffee…and a great email from our ex that made us feel super-awesome about not dating them anymore. Woo-hoo! I realize I have carried this into Love Sunday, but who cares?! Every day should be Love Day! Love Day and crepes…two new trends this blog is all about!
