So here’s the thing. We sorta moved to Austin. And by sorta, I mean, basically. And by basically, I mean somewhat. To sum up: none of our stuff is here, but we are.
What I’m trying to say is that for the time being, we will be dwelling in and re-doing my great-grandmother’s house. Technically, this house not in Austin, as least Austin as I knew it. But the way Austin has grown, it now is, and we now are. We’re south, which is good, since Harry’s new, rad, totally hippie school is too.
There’s so much more I need to write about this…VOLUMES… and I will. In fact, I’ve gone ahead and made a whole category for “The Casa” on this newfangled blog of mine. (And let’s be clear that when I say ‘I made it’, I completely mean ‘Monica made it’.) So there will be a lot more to come. Once I find my brain, which has been packed away with my underwear.
I also haven’t yet found or unpacked my camera, so this lovely shot above from Stuck in Customs will have to do. It captures our new home quite well.
