We have a digital point and shoot that we “gave” to Lucy and Zoe. Mostly it just sits around the house because they prefer to shoot with our phones. But when we go on vacation, they shoot like crazy. I love adding their photos to our vacation “album” because, as you illustrate above, their perspective is so completely different from ours. I wholeheartedly support getting Harry a camera.
Great post!! This happens to me every month when I down load photos. My 10 year old likes to take photos with my camera and then his 2 year old twin brother and sister seemed to “follow” in his foot steps. I would find my camera on the sofa, kitchen table and think I know I didn’t leave it there but, then I am tired so I guess I did. After down loading my photos after two months of not I found some of the cuties photos from a two year olds point of view complete with a few of me unawear of what they were doing. I printed some of them and keep an album. I love “short people” photography!!

Q: How do you make kids like vegetables? A: You plant a garden and have the kids grow the vegetables themselves. This was the answer someone gave me. This completely did not work. In March, we started this little backyard garden. Squash, early pumpkins, okra, cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers. I’ve tried all of these things [...]
And laugh we did on Wednesday night. I love this photo. Me and Victor (Jenny‘s husband) laughing along with 350 others as she did her reading in Austin at Book People… right after she found out she is #1 on the NYT Best Seller list. The whole evening was such a celebration! These are the things [...]
So as you may or may not know, I’m part of a team that puts on this conference every year called the Mom 2.0 Summit. It’s our fourth year, and this time it’s in Miami. Every year, the conference sort of takes on a life of its own…with different people involved (you can see the [...]
So I’m sitting here, trying to figure out how to be clever, and I just don’t have it in me this morning. I’m still spinning from the last 38 hours. So I’ll just tell you about them… You see, right now I’m living in a state of extremes. I don’t know if it’s timing, or star [...]
