One good thing about being in the Austin area is that the morning weather tweet from the Austin American Statesman is now actually applicable to my life and atmosphere.
Or, well, this is usually a good thing. However, today, the forecast isn’t so awesome. And now that I’ve become a product of my new environment, I can definitely feel this in my head. Foggy. Cloudy. Bleh.
Perhaps it’s some kind of Easter hangover (probably not). Or maybe because I wasn’t one of the 700K people who purchased an iPad over the weekend (definitely not). Or maybe it’s that I’m totally allergic to my new little piece of the world (very most likely).
Also, here’s something weird. I’m usually one of those people who obnoxiously boasts how she never gets headaches, but today, I have one of those monster truck head things that makes your stomach, your knees, and your hair hurt. This is a bummer. Because I really want to type about my last week’s trip to Houston, and my Easter weekend, and the massive amounts of flowers that are currently blooming on top of the chicken coop in the backyard. And yes, you read that correctly.
In other words, there’s much to say about this current transition from city girl, to country mouse. However, it looks like one of these new transitioning points (I’m looking at you, Pollen!) is keeping me from doing so this morning.
Hopefully things will be a little clearer tomorrow.

Did you get the chickens? Or, just the coop?! I really hope you got chickens.
Can you say where your bit of country is? Or give us the general area? Or is that too much? Was researching some locales in the Austin area and am just so curious where you landed.
You must stay tuned….
I will. Or you could put me out of my misery and send me an e-mail
Of course, I’ll stay tuned anyway.
No, I won’t stay tuned! TELL ME NOW!
Sorry. Hormones. I’ll stay tuned. (Mopes.)
H’town forecast was sunny with a pound of pollen. Sorry it’s giving you a headache. WE are overloaded on allergy meds if you need a fake doctor. Imagine you are a seed and the rain is doing all sorts of exciting things to you while you lie dormant! Mainly, we miss you here!
