You may know that mornings are a whole nightmare thing around my house…for starters because they start so stupid early, but also because my child is the Gandhi of breakfast. Only he doesn’t quietly refuse to eat; he believes in protesting with volume. I hear that this is often a thing in other houses as well. Maybe yours. And for the sake of your soul, I really hope not. I wish you quiet calm before 7 a.m….as God and Gandhi intended it.
But until that day finds us (and as long as we’re experiencing grumpy, pre-dawn, hunger strikes), I’m looking for solutions. As evidenced here, where I very cheerfully ask cute Curtis Stone how to (painlessly) start off healthy in the morning.
And then cute Curtis responds with a rad homemade granola recipe.
I love that. And we’re going to try that granola this week.

It’s not going to be pretty, but it should be hilarious. You too will have the pleasure of Harry Mayes pre 6 a.m. And that’s the kind of love that needs to be experienced first hand. You’ll see.
