I get to see the town for the first time in April; my SIL's getting married (she grew up there/returned after attending Boston U). Can't wait! (Although I'd have preferred going for my virgin visit as part of one of the caravans in the 90s with my barfly friends for SXSW. Sigh. Regrets. Oh, Spoon, how I'd have humped thy group-band-leg back then. Sorry, GCQ, for the trashy.)Oh, and hi, you're adorable?!

Don't move to Austin! It sucks! It's terrible! It's so crowded and noisy! No one wears deodorant! It's expensive! Dogs are illegal! There's no indoor plumbing!Okay, and I love, love, LOVE living there. So sad to miss the visit this time!

how jealous am i that you can just go spend a few hours in austin, one of the greatest places on earth.i can do the same thing with chapel hill, but as great as chapel hill is, it ain't no austin.cute picture too!!
