The lettuce guy that we buy lettuce from every week at the Farmers Market (The List #31…check!) really likes Harry, so he gave us two Patty Pan squash for free. Just to try them. He said…”Use The Google and find a recipe.” Yes he did. So I did. And I found this recipe from Food Renegade for Buttery Patty Pan Squash with Basil …and it is super easy.
- 5 or 6 medium patty pan squash, sliced
- 1/4 C melted butter from grass-fed cows
- 1 bunch fresh basil, chopped
- sea salt
That’s it. And whooooboy is it good. Go there and see how they did it. (They have pretty photos). And then try it! You won’t be disappointed.
