Kirtsy Takes a Bow

It's here! It's here! It's finally here!

The book we've been working on forever.
It has been birthed.
It now exists.

The Kirtsy book will arrive on the earth on November 15th, 2009.

Whoohoo!

Finally.

You know how people write books and they go on and on about how hard it is wah wah wah and how they have deadlines sob sob, and how they feel like they've climbed a mountain while birthing a child, and doing advanced calculus problems on an abacus. And you're all, puuuhleeeease, whaaat-ev-er.
You're writing a book, not curing cancer. Get over yourself!
You know what I'm talking about.Well, it turns out those people also know what they're talking about.
Because this creating a book thing, well, it weirdly takes over your brain, and your nights, and weekends. But I must say, like so many things (calculus excluded), I think it's totally worth it.

Because this book is gorgeous. It includes 100 amazing writers, photographers, designers, entrepreneurs, and more and also andandandandand. It's interesting. It's well designed.
And you can read more about it here on this lovely site.

You can also order it from a variety of places, and it will be in bookstores near you soonish or so they say. But, for now, so you can get it faster, here's what I'll do. If you order it directly from Bright Sky Press, I will sign every copy before it's delivered to you. Well, every copy ordered there in November. Unless you don't want me to sign it, and then I totally won't. No really. You're the boss.

OH AND ALSO!

This book's going on the road!

Kirtsy founders, partners, editors, friends, writers and contributors will all be meeting up and greeting up at eight (so far!) lovely book events across the country. Please join us!
