If You're Looking For A Toy That Sounds Exactly Like Someone Is Chopping Vegetables With A Very Sharp Knife...

If that's what you're looking for, then here you go. Because as I'm typing this, Harry is right next to me, playing with this little number from Jdeco, and if I didn't know better, I'd say he was about to chop his hand off. Because someone figured out when you slice these wooden pieces (attached together with velcro) with a wooden knife, it makes the sound of 12 sous chefs. Exactly. This is not an ad, it's just an observation.

What I should be doing is downloading the hundreds of photos I took in DC last night, but instead, I'm sitting here, staring into space, listening to Harry chop wooden velcro-ed vegetables.

I picked these up in the cutest toystore in Naxos, Greece for H... which reminds me, Maggie is doing this really fun thing where she turned cool vacation photos into a "how to pack light" for an insane travel trip. It covers Headbands. And Accessories. And Dresses. And Bathing Suit Coverups. Because those are the four things I packed in my tiny bag for 10 days. The tiny bag I never checked on 7 planes, 3 trains, 2 ferries, 1 catamaran, a bike, 2 rental cars, 4 islands, 3 countries, and approximately 20 cabs. It was liberating. I used Maggie's packing travel list to help, and it was game changing. And very needed, since I'm notoriously horrible at bag packing.

But thinking about all that travel just makes my brain more tired right now. Because I just got in from DC, and tomorrow I head to Dallas.

So now, I'm going to bed.
