It's National Wear Red Day!
My paternal grandmother Ruby died from heart disease right after I was born, and partially because I never got to know her, I'm wearing red for her today. Because the red dress is the symbol for women and heart disease awareness, and today's the day to pull out your favorite little cardinal number. Besides the wearing of all the red, there are a lot healthy cardiovascular goings on, and my dear friend Gabby has a great list lined up on Design Mom. So celebrate!

I wish I would have known. I would have worn red also. I'm weraing black. I don't know what that symbolizes today. Probably nothing good. Maybe I'll change later and wear red, but then I'll just be at home and no one will see me.

Doesn't the name ruby completely rock?
I'm sorry to hear about your family members.
The wearing red seems a little abstract to me...I guess it raises awareness? If people know what it means...
I tried to wear red but I don't own any so I am wearing very dark pink. Thanks for raising awareness - it's a great cause!
I'm wearing this in my office at my computer in support of National Red Day. And ladies, I look just like this guy: give me a call.

HUBBA HUBBA, KCG! I'm free Saturday night! SWAK!
Damn. I wish I had worn red. I didn't know. I, too, am wearing black. Sigh...
Love those Earth shoes the model is wearing; they're verging on totally hot, which is a rare and fine thing for Earth shoes.
A red dress is actually cooler than the ubiquitous LBD, and thanks for raising awareness of women and heart disease.
