So sk*rt is official! Officially.
Back in June, as you may recall, we “soft-launched” and quickly learned that there is no such thing as a soft-launch. Either you hit or you don’t. Well, as you may have figured out by now, sk*rt seems to have hit. And we couldn’t be more excited. So we declared the Blogher Conference as our official launch. The feedback and excitement we’ve got has been so encouraging and so feel-good and so very sk*rty.
So to celebrate the official launch, we’ve got a variety of contests happening and coming. Here are the first two:
1. July 30-August 5 ＊ Off and Running Contest.
Everything is running smoothly with our official launch, so we’re celebrating by giving away 20 Pairs of Ryka Shoes! Winners get to pick their favorite!
There are three ways to enter:
1. Vote on at least 10 items (in either the up-and-coming section or the popular section) every day this week (M-F)
2. OR Submit a link to sk*rt everyday this week (M-F)
3. OR Leave comments on at least 2 sk*rt items everyday this week (M-F)

Following our soft-launch in June, lots of people suggested new and different categories to help make sk*rt more robust. Well we listened — and we agreed with many of your suggestions. So to celebrate our new category, World & Business, we’re partnering with NeatRecipts to give away FIVE of their Scanalizers. These cute little efficiency tools scan receipts, business cards, documents, expense reports, etc. etc. into a database on your computer. (Each scanner is worth $230.) So freaking awesome.
There are three ways to enter:
1. Submit a story in sk*rt’s World & Business category
2. OR Comment on three entries in the World & Business category
3. OR Vote for five entries in the World & Business category

Okay, I have to win that receipt thing. I. Must. Have. It. You've seen my organization, so you know the service you would be providing!
