That’s it. News is officially crap.

Will you kick me if I say I don’t watch American Idol?

Because I don’t.

However, I am living on this planet, so I do know who the players are. Even if I'm typically a bit apathetic about the whole brouhaha. But then last week, my brilliant sister-in-law sent me this, I became a bit more interested, and I suddenly started rooting for Jordin Sparks.

Check it.

I mean, maybe it’s my TV or something, but when I look at Jordin, I do not see diabetes, I do not see heart disease, I do not see cholesterol. I see a really talented 17 year old.

And more importantly, this report further proves that completely anyone can be an expert source on a news program. So, I'd like to recommend these two crazy drunk guys I pass on my way to work each morning. Because they’d be fantastic expert guests to speak on a variety of topics. And frankly, their points would make a lot more sense.

"gasp" So upsetting... who would this lady have be the "picture of health?" Lindsay Lohan? Nicole Richie? I would agree that we need some good role models for health, but i would say htat we need role models that aren't stick thin.. WTF??

I agree with "like a star". We do need better role models. I also think that the people who "choose" these role models should be screened first - for mental health. Bwah ha ha!

Anyone want to find that lady and poke her in the eyes with me? Jordin is gorgeous and an awesome example for young girls. I hope she doesn't go on some crash diet to "fit in" in Hollywood. That would make me sad. . .

I learned a great new phrase the other day. It's meant for when things get really deep. And it totally applies here:

Two shovels.

Proving, once again, that FOX News should not be our source for ANYTHING.

I don't watch American Idol, but did happen to see Jordin's audition months ago, so when I heard she won I thought oh good at least the cute talented girl won. Now they've got to go ruin it for her.

I'd like to wring the blond chick's neck. Is that wrong?

OH MY GOSH! That woman should be shot! I absolutely LOVE the fact that Jordin is not so thin you can see her ribs. She's a tall girl, with a tall girl's frame (i.o.w. she's got bigger bones than petite skinny minnies). Good greif...yep, that woman should be shot. where's my shotgun??
