So cool--especially the cards. I found myself at an event a few weeks ago and was being introduced all night as "Mr. Rowley's wife (my husband is a third-grade teacher). I loved it!

Of course I also love being introduced around my kids' high school as either L~'s or Z~'s mom. I don't think it would be quite as endearing, however, if I didn't also have at least a few circles in which I am known simply as myself. Know what I mean?

I look forward to some fabulous finds on Fridays!

The Smithereens were never out. In high school, I had to "save my beans to see The Smithereens" which created hours of nonstop witty banter such as, "do you have the beans to see The Smithereens?" "Yeah, I got the beans. Do you have the beans?! To see The Smithereens, I mean." Wow. And I wasn't even on drugs.

Expect a lengthy list of Friday recs. Someday.

And I am waiting to get the parent card that reads:
"so-and so's mom" and beneath that "Bad-ass Mo Fo" . That's gonna be the mom I want to hang out with.

Bones, I would email you but I don't have any problems. Well, any problems that I want to share with the world.

Too cool shoes.

I once lived in Guam where a lot of cool Australian merchandise was sold at the military bases.

I'm supposed to get some of those cards soon - I really think they'll be handy. How many times have we scribbled our info on the back of our child's artwork???

And The Smithereens. (nostalgic sigh)

Just came accross you blog today and I Love those shoes....I love Friday Faves. My big sis does this exact thing on this blog. WE love and look forward to them every week for the last couple of months. She usually has some great 'mom' finds along with other helpful and not so needful but wantful(I'm pretty sure that is not a word) items.
